Build Up 2 : Moving On

You are already in work, your horse is ticking along in walk and trot — but now it is time to build. This six-week programme is for partnerships who are ready to push on, developing the strength, fitness and quality that will set you up for the year ahead. We work through targeted groundwork, progressive trot sets, pole exercises and flatwork that gradually increases in complexity, introducing lateral work, longer trot efforts and eventually those first canter transitions.

The aim is not just to get fitter, but to get fitter in the right way — building the core strength and posture that makes everything else easier. Each week layers on the last, so your horse is always being challenged but never pushed beyond what they can handle.

By week six, you will have a horse who is stronger, more balanced, working through the body and ready to take on whatever you have planned for the spring. Daily session plans and platform content are linked throughout, so you always know where you are and what comes next.
