Updates

In 2024 we opened our platform and began filming the programme we take horses through when they train with us. We spent the year working with hundreds of horses and riders over clinics to explore what made sense to them and try the programme on real people working through problems and goals.

Our goal is that you could take an unstarted young horse and start them yourself, or take a horse who is missing parts of their foundation and work through the programme to fill in the gaps.

We want you to feel connected to your horse in a way that feels solution based and enables you to go out and explore the world together.

What we built in 2024

Level 1
This level focuses on understanding horse psychology, how we use pressure and rewards and takes you through the basics of how to keep safe, connect and build a healthy relationship with your horse.
Level 2
Works through the core movements that make up all of the more advanced movements and activities. We will add more examples and case studies over the coming months.
Transformations
Added: Understanding the Inside Leg, Strength Builder, 12 Days of Christmas,
AUDIO GUIDES
Added : Hacking, Grooming, Full Body Groom, Tacking Up

A Revision of the levels

Towards the end of 2024 we paused filming whilst we experimented with what we had learned across 5 clinics. Each clinic had 10 participants and worked through each stage of our programme and development scale. In 2025 we are working to reshape the programme to fit the stages of development that we see work with all horses, young, old, experienced or green.

Stage 1 - Connection & Safety
Stage 2 - Confidence & Understanding
Stage 3 - Forwards & Free
Stage 4 - Strength & Self Carriage

Within these stages all of the current elements exist, but we want to show you how you move through these sessions constantly when you are working with a horse, how you help a horse stay connected and confident and how you can use forwards to develop a strong rhythmic horse and how you can use bridleless riding to create correct use of the horses back.

What does this mean for My Membership?

Everything stays the same - all we have found is that for many people they learn the mechanics of things - how to move the horses hind end for example, but not always when to deploy it and how to use it when you are training day to day. We will be spending time in 2025 working to create resources that help you deploy the different elements as you work your horse and go our adventuring. Alongside more visual content and print at home material to be able to take it with you to the yard to practice.
